As part of Navy Pier’s Centennial Celebration, The Tall Ships event are bringing in over 14 majestic vessels. This five-day festival is kicking off July 27th starting with a Parade of Sails at 3pm-5pm and with fireworks at 9:30pm.
Guest have the opportunity to walk the grounds, board the ships and sail out. Tickets can be purchased at the Navy Pier website.
Historical vessels from around the world, including the world’s largest Viking ship, *Draken Harald Hårfagre (Norway), El Galeón Andalucía (Spain), a one-of-a-kind replica used by the Spanish Crown for maritime expeditions in the 16th century, as well as Appledore IV (USA), Fred A. Busse Fireboat (USA), Friends Good Will (USA), Madeline (USA), Mist of Avalon (Canada), Niagara (USA), Playfair (Canada), Pride of Baltimore II (USA), Red Witch (USA), When and If (USA), and Windy (USA).
