Dining in Chicago Just Got Easier with Apps!

DSC00004Chicago’s culinary scene is robust and while there are more restaurants popping up everywhere,  I’m still at lost on which one I should choose to enjoy when the inspiration and opportunity to eat out with friends come. I’m often battling the decision between a good parking space and the ease of reserving a spot at a restaurant I want. Thanks to these two new apps, I can now easily paint the town red with just a click of a button.

Reserve: Personal Dining Concierge App
Screen Shot 2015-05-01 at 7.22.45 AMI’m sure you’ve seen other dining apps before, but here’s a full-service app that will take care of everything for you. It enables you to search, reserve, and pay easily at the end of your meal with a $5 added concierge fee.

The Reserve app is also available to use in New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, and about 20 notable restaurants are already on the Chicago’s Reserve list of restaurants.

Parche: Valet App

Screen Shot 2015-05-01 at 7.20.00 AMImagine this – you’re just about ready to be done with dinner and with an easy tap on your phone app you can request for your car, pay for the valet (includes service fee and tip already), and just hop in your car as soon as it tells you that your car is ready. Yes, it is that easy! Time saved to keep on gabbing with friends instead of standing outside in the cold (or heat) while waiting for valet to bring you your car.

I also love that I’m supporting a local start-up company. Check out this great list of Parche restaurants already using this valet app.Screen Shot 2015-05-01 at 7.20.14 AM
So, the next time you leave your house for a night out – don’t bother bringing your wallet. Just bring your smartphone with you.
