Summer get Chicagoans all abuzz about finding the best rooftop bars and spaces in our favorite city and I’m almost pretty sure that you’ve seen numerous listings of them everywhere from Chicago Magazine to some local blogs, too. Now I’m excited to tell you about Chicago’s newest and largest terrace – Loews Chicago Hotel’s rooftop space, called Streeterville Social. The space boasts a 9,000 square-foot rooftop oasis that shows off our beautiful city skyline and Lake Michigan.
Besides the beautiful views, Streeterville Social has some fun games like the giant Jenga, bags and pétanque (a French version of bocce balls) to keep everyone entertained.
Streeterville Social serves refined street food under the helm of Chef Mark Payne. “For Streeterville Social’s menu, we decided to focus on elevated street eats that pair nicely with our selection of tiki-inspired cocktails, like the Crispy Lamb Belly, a new twist on the traditional Greek gyro.” Their menu offers “Elevated Street Eats” like Bahn Mi, and Crispy Lamb Belly on a Grille Pita.
I’m imagining many summer evenings out to enjoy cocktails with my girlfriends! I suggest that the next time you are in the lookout for a hot new spot to check out under the stars, you’d have to experience Streeterville Social!
