You invited me to deliciously dine, start my work day overlooking the Chicago River, and with the stunning view of our beautiful skyline? Yes, please! That’s like being sent to an Instagram addict heaven! I’m imagining that the struggle between taking a picture of the dish served or the spectacular Chicago sights may just be too much to bear from all the excitement. That’s exactly how it was for me when I attended the Chicago Cut Steakhouse Summer Escape Media Breakfast where we taste-tested some of their morning menu selections.
It was a beautiful sunny morning and they perfectly planned the event by setting us up by the patio to enjoy the beauty of it all. The Chicago Cut Steakhouse Owner, David Flom, welcomed the group and mentioned how their breakfast diners have evolved into a bigger morning crowd from the time they opened their doors five years ago. It was my first time to go to this restaurant and even though I have yet to try their food, I’m already excited to have this on my list to go to on my next morning business meetings. The sights won me over already.
We were then served 5 courses from classic Homemade Granola to a modern twist of the Surf & Turf Eggs Benedict. The last on the list was the Vanilla Challah French Toast that had me smile even bigger. The decadent taste of caramel satiated my desire to have a sweet end to my meal. I almost forgot that I still have a full work day ahead. That French Toast will be one that will keep me coming back from here on. Well – that AND the Eggs Benedict!
