Princi, a Milan-Based Bakery, opens in Chicago on 9/18

Rocco Princi opened his first Princi Bakery in Milan in 1986, followed by London, and with Starbucks as an investor, the coffee giant brought Italy home to Seattle and now in Chicago!

Rocco Princi of Princi Bakery was there to welcome media at the press tour.

On Tuesday, Sept. 19, Princi Bakery is opening its door at the Fulton Market District. Smack dab in the already busy corner of Randolph & Morgan street, an artisanal Italian bakery will be offering a place for casual breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even for the after-dinner (or before) aperitivo cocktails!

This Chicago Princi Bakery marks the second stand-alone location to open in the U.S. preceding the highly anticipated Starbucks Chicago Reserve Roastery opening at the former Crate & Barrel building on Michigan Avenue in 2019.

New York City is next to open the another U.S. Princi. Shanghai and Tokyo locations are also opening soon.
