Tamarack Lodge
On my first night, I stayed at the Tamarack Lodge. Centrally located at the heart of downtown Ketchum, everything from shops to restaurants is within arm’s reach. This hotel is an ideal accommodation for families with all the comforts of home. I occupied the on the top floor of the Tamarack Lodge featuring a spectacular view of beautiful Bald Mountain.

Limelight Hotel / Ketchum
Limelight Hotel was my next Sun Valley hotel. It was hard not to miss Tamarack from the view from my suite, but Limelight also provided me with another impressive Bald Mountain view. In contrast to Limelight Hotel’s energetic and futuristic lobby, my hotel room was a contemporary calm oasis. Just perfect after a full day of venturing around this mountain town.
A resort fee covers continental breakfast, ski lockers, and airport/ski shuttles, plus the gym. There’s also a restaurant, a bar, an outdoor pool, and a hot tub, plus a terrace with fireplaces.

Hotel Ketchum
I spent my last few days at the charming boutique hotel, Hotel Ketchum. The charmingly welcoming and ultra-cozy decor was way beyond my Instagram dreams. I can practically stay all day indoors happily snapping away photos from all the perfect little corners and nooks of their lobby area.
My hotel room was spacious, modern, and with a dreamy fireplace!
Hotel Ketchum’s Hotel Manager, Shannon Allen, toured me around the property from the HIVE Salon to their Door2Door, a ski rental store, and Paddle’s Up Poke’ restaurant. The last stop to our Hotel Ketchum property tour was at their newest apres ski restaurant Barrio75, a Taco Lounge + Tequila Bar. It’s only a week old, and already it’s a nopping nightly stop. Whether you were on the slopes or you stayed in to mope, their menu will surely get the party going. We started with some salsa flights for our chips. We then loaded up their delicious modern twists on their tacos like The Reuben (NY pastrami, swiss, sauerkraut, sauce) and Lam Chorizo Gyro (Housemade lamb chorizo, with pickled onion, cucumber tzatziki crema, and cotija), and more. Of course, we also washed it down with some drinks.
Hotel Ketchum also offers complimentary continental breakfast for all their guests at the Hangout.
