A new PlayStation Family group has formed and I am proud to be invited to join in. The group is consist of mom bloggers from around the nation that are somewhat focused on technology and family gaming. Our group kicked off the first meeting in PlayStation’s Headquarter in the San Francisco area. President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, Jack Tretton was there and proudly spoke about 2010’s record in selling 14.3 M units and that they are anticipating to sell 15 million this year. Surprisingly, Tretton is not a bit intimidated with today’s smart phone and tablet gaming world. “When you’re a gamer there’s no substitute to a gaming device”. We also checked out the upcoming PSVita that will launch in Feb. of 2012.
The Playstation Family will continue with the conversation about the brand and we will be checking out new games and devices along the way. You can follow and join in on the conversation on Twitter by following the hashtag #PSFamily or #PlayStationFamily. You can also check out the rest of the #PSFAmily blogs below.
