October 19 2008 – Nostalgia and Sepia rendering of family friends as visitors from the Philippines, who were caught up with the Chicago iconic pizzeria landmark in Pizzeria Uno.

Loving mother and son show their delight in basking with a piece of Chicago history.Their special request fulfilled while being filled with the classic Chicago deep dish pizza and a night to remember.

Eulalio DeSilva is a Chicago-based Artist-Painter (also a Graphic Designer and Photographer) has been exhibiting for more than 10 years with over 40 group shows up to date, and working on his major solo exhibition for 2009 at the Riverside Art Center just within the outskirt of Chicago.     I love Pizzeria Uno (and secretly wish it were not such a tourist spot) so I can see why they wanted to go there. Yum Yum, and what a cool photogragh.

    Really enjoy the sepia…gives the picture so much depth. And Uno’s is such an icon in the city. I sometimes forget just how good it is!

  3. That old time photograph look definitely goes well with their storefront. Oh, and great pizza of course too.
