Fresh, Organic, Earth Friendly Pizza Fusion

I was pleasantly surprised by a recent trip to a new pizza place.  Pizza Fusion, located in Naperville, recently opened it’s doors for business.  The chain restaurant boasts of serving fresh, organic, and earth friendly pizzas.  Their moto, “saving the earth, one pizza at a time,” definitely made me feel good about our decision to eat there, but would their food taste good?  What would the menu have to offer?

There menu had a large variety of offerings – selections to please people who are vegetarians, vegans, gluten-sensitive, or casein sensitive.  Also selections to please those of us who just want a tasty pizza (I suppose some people would call me a carnivore – I do love my meat!).  Since I was dining with two vegetarians, we ordered their Farmer’s Market Pizza.  A farmer’s medley of roasted artichoke hearts, red onion, roasted zucchini and roasted Portobello with tomato sauce, mozzarella, provolone and parmesan.   It was absolutely delicious.  The perfect balance of of sauce, veggies, and cheese on an oval shaped whole wheat pizza crust.  Have no fear if you’re looking for a more traditional pizza – the table next to us ordered a simple half cheese/half sausage pizza; but I encourage you to try something I little different – I did and I loved it!

My husband recently discovered he is gluton-sensitive and has been avoiding gluton for about four months now.  The two things he misses the most are cheeseburgers (on a bun) and pizza.  We will soon be visiting Pizza Fusion together for their gluton free crust and gluton free beer (another favorite he misses).  I was excited to learn that Thursdays are considered “Gluten-Free Thursdays” at Pizza Fusion.  There’s no extra charge for gluten free crust and the gluten-free beer is half price!  You can guess where we’ll be this Thursday night.

Other daily specials at the Naperville location include:

Hybrid Monday – 20% off your order if you drive a hybrid to Pizza Fusion. (Also – Pizza Fusion reserves the closest parking spots for those who drive a hybrid.)

Giving Back Tuesdays – 5% of sales go to a selected charity.

Wine & Dine Wednesday – Half Price bottles of wine.
