Everyone loves fall in Chicagoland!  There’s just something about the colorful leaves, the apple-based treats, and the upcoming excitement of Halloween that makes everybody want to get out and savor that one last moment before we all hunker down for a long winter.  And the Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn (that’s right, the brand-new museum I wrote about here) is giving you a chance to celebrate fall in a big way at their upcoming Fall Fun Fest on Saturday, October 3!

The festival promises to “take you through the seven continents of the world.”  There will be an inflatable bouncy castle, pumpkin painting, a train ride, crafts, giveaways, games, and live entertainment.  Most of the activities are free, thanks to the generosity of the fair’s sponsors.  There will be a nominal charge for the train ride and face painting to cover the museum’s expenses.  You can also pay the regular admission fee to enter the awesome children’s museum, which is $6 for anybody over the age of 1, and $5 for seniors.

The Oak Lawn Children’s Museum Fall Fun Fest will be held right
