Chicago partnered with the Foursquare App: 20 places to check-in and earn your Windy City Badge!

 

Naveen Selvadurai, co-founder of Foursquare along with Mayor Emanuel announced that there is now a Windy City Badge to attain for. Chicago is the first US city to launch this! Foursquare users who “check-in” at five of 20 designated cultural and small business attractions will receive the Windy City badge. These 20 locations are:

  1. The Oriental Institute Museum in Hyde Park
  2. Garfield Park Conservatory in Garfield Park
  3. Du Sable Museum in Washington Park
  4. Chicago Velodrome in South Chicago
  5. Jane Addams Hull- House Museum in Little Italy
  6. Glenwood Avenue Arts District in Rogers Park
  7. Green Mill in Uptown
  8. Dat Donut in Chatham/Morgan Park
  9. Chicago’s Home of Chicken and Waffles in Bronzeville
  10. Renegade Handmade in Wicker Park
  11. Co-Prosperity Sphere in Bridgeport
  12. Vida Simple Mural in Pilsen
  13. Ping Tom Park in Chinatown
  14. Merz Apothecary in Lincoln Square
  15. Swedish Dala Horse in Andersonville
  16. 63rd Street Beach in Jackson Park
  17. Milio’s Hair Studio in Lakeview
  18. Music Box in Lakeview
  19. Michael Jordan Statue at the United Center
  20. Revolution Brewing in Logan Square
