With Chicago’s growing crime rate there’s definitely a need to find more ways to divert our children’s attention to other things more positive. Not just for the moment, but a life experience that can impact each child and their families. The Chicago Opera Theatre raised their magical voices and  hands to inspire the next generation of opera stars in Chicago and created a new program called Opera for All!  Yes, opera.

“Opera for All is a unique program that lets students in Chicago-area schools create and perform their very own opera. Our program develops students’ writing skills, class morale, and self-confidence.”

As expected, this program is not easy to take on without the financial backing and will need everyone’s help to make it happen. If you have the means to help then here’s the link and if you can’t afford to pitch in, then spreading this post to all your friends can also help.

Check out the amazing video below on what Opera for All is all about.
