Agio Bistro in Palatine, IL

| October 3, 2011 | 1 Comment

If you ever venture out to Palatine and find yourself in some need of a fulfilling meal, then Agio Italian Bistro’s may be the one to check out. This 3 year old restaurant is in a strip mall about 6 miles west of the Woodfield Shopping Center. The inside ambiance is nice but  feels a bit out of place and unexpected looking from the outside. The food was good  and the wait staff is friendly and can easily pair up your choice of dishes with the perfect glass of wine.

Mahi Mahi Alla Puttanesca: Fresh Mahi Mahi fillet sautéed with onions, capers, black olive in an light spicy tomato sauce served on a bed of sautéed spinach.

Carpaccio: Thinly Sliced beef loin garnished with arugula salad, shaved parmigiano, capers in a lemon oil.
